International Business Unit – appmob

We decided to launch a new business unit dedicated to app development in June 2014 after the successful acquisition of the Sydney Shopping app. Diversifying the company further allows us to provide additional opportunities for brands that operate on high streets worldwide.

The Sydney Shopping app was an established app and after taking it over we re-developed it from the ground up, improving the user experience and adding multiple new features. Users can use the app to search for stores across Sydney and then create a personalised list of their favourite stores. A variety of daily deals, in-store promotions and online coupon codes are also listed to help users to get the best promos, as well as providing advertisers with a platform to push key seasonal promotions to shoppers in Sydney.

The app is due to be rolled out in more cities across 2014, further strengthening the position of Performance Digital as a global outreach platform for retailers to engage with consumers through a variety of mediums.
